In der letzten Woche hatte ich glücklicherweise genug Zeit, um mich mit Stability AI’s neusten Release zu beschäftigen: SDXL 1.0! Das lang angekündigte Update, welches sehr schnell nach 0.9 veröffentlicht wurde, bietet viele Neuerungen – aber auch einige Hürden. In diesem Blogpost zeige ich Tipps & Tricks, um das neue Model schneller auf schwächeren Grafikkarten (8GB) laufen zu lassen und ich zeige dir ein Custom Checkpoint von CivitAI, mit dem ich aktuell am liebsten arbeite.
Die neuste Version von SDXL findet man hier, ich persönlich bin nach ersten Test allerdings direkt auf diese alternative Version gewechselt. Die Bilder der Basisversion scheinen mir oft weniger ausgereift als die von DreamShaper. Auf Leonardo.ai nutze ich dieses Model ebenfalls sehr häufig, da die Ergebnisse mir im Durchschnitt am besten erschienen.

Die richtigen Einstellungen für SD XL 1.0
Um bei SDXL gute Ergebnisse erzielen zu können, muss man bei der Bildauflösung bei 1024x1024px bleiben. Wenn man ein anderes Bildformat als 1:1 wählen möchte, empfehle ich Ihnen trotzdem die 2048 Pixel als Basis beizubehalten. Also beispielsweise 500x1548px oder 850x1198px. Für das Rendern der Bilder nutze ich bisher am meisten Euler A in Kombination mit 23 Steps. Die Zeit des Rendern eines Bildes beträgt im Durchschnitt 25 bis 30 Sekunden, danach braucht automatiC1111 zum Speichern des Bildes nochmal ca. 10 weitere Sekunden. Diese Zeiten habe ich durch das Setzen des Befehls “–medvram” bekommen, davor hat das Rendern eines Bildes über 5 MINUTEN gedauert. Für SD 1.5 konnte ich automatiC1111 ohne den Befehl laufen lassen, bei SDXL geht meiner mittelklasse Grafikkarte dann doch die Puste aus.
